Itinerary
You will travel to Ha Giang 1 day before the tour. Free dorm accommodation of 1 night will be provided on the night before the tour's departure date. Pai Adventure can support booking round-trip sleeper buses (07:00, 12:00, 16:00, 21:00) to Ha Giang upon request.
07:30 AM – Our tourist vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the tour office (which also serves as a pre-tour resting point), or at other locations within Hà Giang City for guests who do not gather at the office. The guide gives a short briefing before the group heads out for breakfast and officially begins the journey.
08:45 AM – Transfer to Nam Te Village, located 17 km from Hà Giang City. This is the starting point of a gentle morning hike of approximately 4 km, passing through cool streams and scenic terraced rice fields along small waterways, creating a picture-perfect landscape.

11:30 AM – Lunch in Nam Te Village with the Dao ethnic community, featuring authentic highland dishes such as free-range hill pork and chicken, stream fish, and wild forest vegetables.
12:30 PM – Continue hiking to Mao Phin Village, a highland village known for its cool climate. The area offers magnificent yet poetic terraced rice fields, surrounded by lush tropical forests and extensive palm-leaf groves.

03:30 PM – Arrive at Xa Phin Village, where winding terraced fields wrap around traditional stilt houses floating beneath thin layers of cloud. This is considered one of the most beautiful terraced rice landscapes in Vietnam. Visit the unique “Moss Roof Village”, where palm-leaf roofs aged over decades are naturally covered in vibrant green moss due to the area’s high humidity.

04:30 PM – Arrive at the homestay in Xa Phin Village. Enjoy dinner with traditional Dao ethnic cuisine and spend the night in a stilt house, experiencing the peaceful atmosphere of the highland village.

07:30 AM – Wake up and enjoy breakfast at the homestay, surrounded by fresh, cool mountain air, birdsong, and the gentle sound of flowing streams in Xa Phin Village.
08:30 AM – Conquer Huou Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the vast Tây Côn Lĩnh mountain range, offering countless photo opportunities. The waterfall also serves as a refreshing natural swimming pool, where guests can enjoy a relaxing dip.

09:00 AM – Begin hiking through ancient Shan Tuyet tea forests, home to centuries-old tea trees. Shan Tuyet tea is a treasured specialty of Hà Giang and a rare variety found only in the high-altitude mountain ranges of northern Hà Giang.

12:00 PM – Lunch featuring local highland specialties in Xa Phin Village.
01:30 PM – Start hiking from Xa Phin Village through Na Mau Village, following trails with stunning views of terraced rice fields and beautiful ethnic villages. Continue through tropical forests before arriving at Lung Vai Village, where dinner and an overnight stay await.

08:00 AM – Wake up, enjoy breakfast, and begin the descent from the mountains. The route passes suspension bridges, terraced rice fields, and refreshing mountain streams.
11:30 AM – Lunch in Ha Thanh Hamlet, featuring traditional specialties of the Tày ethnic people.

02:00 PM – Conquer and swim at Waterfall No. 6. Take a leisurely walk around Tha Village and Ha Thanh Village—beautiful Tày ethnic villages known for their closely clustered palm-leaf roof houses. Learn about the peaceful daily life of the Tày people before the vehicle arrives for the return transfer to Hà Giang City.

04:00 PM – Arrive in Hà Giang City. Guests can rest, shower, and relax while waiting for the sleeper bus pickup. You may choose an early bus to return the same day or an overnight sleeper bus for departure to other provinces, arriving early the following morning.

Additional Information
Child Policy
Children under 5 years old: Free of charge (meals and accommodation are shared with parents; parents are responsible for the child’s needs). Each pair of adults may accompany one child for free; from the second child onward, a fee of 50% of the adult tour price applies.
Children from 5 to 9 years old: Tour price = 85% of the adult tour price (sleeping with adults, other services provided according to adult standards). Each pair of adults may accompany one child at this rate; from the second child onward, the full adult price applies.
From 10 years old and up: Tour price and service standards are the same as for adults
Surcharge Policy (if applicable)
Sleeping alone in a private room: + 400,000 VND / 1 room / 1 night
Holidays and festivals: + 100,000 VND / 1 person / 1 day
Cancellation Policy
1. Tour Cancellation by the Customer
Customers may cancel a registered tour; however, cancellation fees will apply depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made:
Cancellation more than 15 days in advance (excluding public holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays): 20% of the total tour price
Cancellation 8–14 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price
Cancellation 4–7 days before departure: 75% of the total tour price
Cancellation within 3 days before departure or no-show: No refund.
Note: Any fees already paid to service providers (airfare, accommodation, visa, etc.) may be non-refundable and will be deducted accordingly.
2. Tour Refunds
Any refundable amount (if applicable) will be processed within 7–14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation and once all required refund information has been provided.
Refund method: bank transfer or the original method of payment.
3. Tour Cancellation by the Company
In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, epidemics, insufficient number of participants, etc.):
The company will notify customers of the cancellation as early as possible.
Customers will receive a 100% refund of the paid amount or may choose to switch to another tour of equivalent value.
Note: The company is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the customer outside of the tour package (connecting flights, separately booked accommodation, etc.).
4. Service Changes
All requests for changes (departure date, replacement traveler, service upgrade, etc.) must be made at least 7 days prior to departure and may incur additional charges.
Acceptance of changes is subject to the terms and conditions of the service providers.
Additional Information
- For self-riding motorbike tour, please ensure that you have the valid 1968 International Driver’s Permit that allows you ride up to 150cc motorcycles.
- Weather information, transportation for the group, the guide who will receive the group, and additional notes for the tour itinerary will be sent 3-5 days before departure.
- From the time of tour registration to departure, if there are any incidents or changes, please report them immediately to the company or directly to the customer care staff for support and reasonable adjustments.
