Tour Introduction
Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark in Ha Giang is famous for its majestic landscape that is unmatched anywhere in Vietnam, in which the scenic cluster of Nho Que River – Ma Pi Leng – White Cliff is the most special highlight. The 2-day-1-night hiking trip will surely overwhelm visitors with the majestic beauty of the nature in the far north of Vietnam.
Itinerary
07:30: Tour guide picks up the group at Dong Van / Meo Vac town and starts moving to the Hiking point.
08:00: Start hiking 6km from Dong Van town down the beautiful Nho Que River with a panoramic view of the Vietnam - China border through the Nho Que River basin, passing through the villages of the Giay and H'mong people with the blooming cotton flowers stretching along both banks of the Nho Que River.


11:30: Arrive at Ta Lang - a small village of the Giay people next to the Nho Que River with a view of the surrounding mountains and forests, have lunch at the Homestay with a view of the dreamy Nho Que River.
13:30: Start hiking 5km from Ta Lang to Ma Pi Leng Pass: the road passes through steep villages, and has a panoramic view of Ma Pi Leng and Nho Que River from above, with floating seas of clouds below.


16:00: The group arrives at the Youth Volunteer Monument located next to Highway 4C, which is the end point of the Dong Van Stone Plateau hiking route on day 1. Check in at the homestay, have dinner and stay overnight at Ma Pi Leng.
07:00: Wake up, enjoy a cup of coffee or warm ginger tea, have breakfast at the homestay.
08:00: Start hiking White Cliff - a walking route slightly longer than 5km with a panoramic view of a large area of Ma Pi Leng Pass, Nho Que River, Tu San Gorge from above. Check in at some beautiful spots such as Death Rock, Happy Couple Tree, Fairy Eye...

11:30: Lunch at Pa Vi village.
13:30: Hiking to explore the Tia Cua Si route deep in the heart of the Stone Plateau with a panoramic view of the Nho Que River basin from above, in the distance is the Sam Pun range extending to the Vietnam-China border. The route passes through the pristine villages of the H'mong people hanging between the cliffs next to the Nho Que River such as: Tia Cua Si village, Nia Do village, Ca Chua Do village... Check in at the Nia Do bamboo forest located in the heart of the stone plateau.

16:00: Arrive at Giang Chu Phin Commune People's Committee. Car picks up group to return to Meo Vac/Dong Van town.

Additional Information
Child Policy
Children under 5 years old: Free of charge (meals and accommodation are shared with parents; parents are responsible for the child’s needs). Each pair of adults may accompany one child for free; from the second child onward, a fee of 50% of the adult tour price applies.
Children from 5 to 9 years old: Tour price = 85% of the adult tour price (sleeping with adults, other services provided according to adult standards). Each pair of adults may accompany one child at this rate; from the second child onward, the full adult price applies.
From 10 years old and up: Tour price and service standards are the same as for adults
Surcharge Policy (if applicable)
Sleeping alone in a private room: + 400,000 VND / 1 room / 1 night
Holidays and festivals: + 100,000 VND / 1 person / 1 day
Cancellation Policy
1. Tour Cancellation by the Customer
Customers may cancel a registered tour; however, cancellation fees will apply depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made:
Cancellation more than 15 days in advance (excluding public holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays): 20% of the total tour price
Cancellation 8–14 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price
Cancellation 4–7 days before departure: 75% of the total tour price
Cancellation within 3 days before departure or no-show: No refund.
Note: Any fees already paid to service providers (airfare, accommodation, visa, etc.) may be non-refundable and will be deducted accordingly.
2. Tour Refunds
Any refundable amount (if applicable) will be processed within 7–14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation and once all required refund information has been provided.
Refund method: bank transfer or the original method of payment.
3. Tour Cancellation by the Company
In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, epidemics, insufficient number of participants, etc.):
The company will notify customers of the cancellation as early as possible.
Customers will receive a 100% refund of the paid amount or may choose to switch to another tour of equivalent value.
Note: The company is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the customer outside of the tour package (connecting flights, separately booked accommodation, etc.).
4. Service Changes
All requests for changes (departure date, replacement traveler, service upgrade, etc.) must be made at least 7 days prior to departure and may incur additional charges.
Acceptance of changes is subject to the terms and conditions of the service providers.
Additional Information
- For self-riding motorbike tour, please ensure that you have the valid 1968 International Driver’s Permit that allows you ride up to 150cc motorcycles.
- Weather information, transportation for the group, the guide who will receive the group, and additional notes for the tour itinerary will be sent 3-5 days before departure.
- From the time of tour registration to departure, if there are any incidents or changes, please report them immediately to the company or directly to the customer care staff for support and reasonable adjustments.
